چکیده
Salinity is one of the most important limiting factors in plant growth. It also a predominant constraint that impairs grass growth and quality. Plant hormones play roles capability plants to adapt environmental stresses. Hence, impact two regulators (PGRs) i.e. salicylic acid (SA) progesterone (P4) was studied on biological characteristics Poa pratensis saline conditions greenhouse experimnt. The experimental treatments were composed salinity at four levels (0, 2, 4, 6 dS m-1) six PGRs (control, 1 mg L-1 P4,10 P4, mM SA, 3 P4 + SA). results showed leaf firing percentage increased with excess salinity, but use SA eased effects stress reduced under salinity. m-1 caused maximum electrolyte leakage. highest relative water content observed 4 treatment. glycine betaine related NaCl no hormone application. total protein catalase, simultaneous exhibited catalase content, whilst control lowest ones. application chlorophyll it. improved carotenoid stress. Overall, tolerance pigments antioxidant enzyme activities.

Salinity Tolerance of Kentucky Bluegrass as Affected by Salicylic Acid
Salinity is one of the greatest environmental challenges facing plant growth and development in the 21st century. Salicylic acid (SA) is a phenolic compound and signal molecule involved in the regulation of plants responses to biotic and abiotic stresses. This greenhouse experiment was conducted to determine effects of SA application on Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis L.) responses to salinit...
متن کاملThe Effect of Putrescine and Salicylic Acid on Physiological Characteristics and Antioxidant in Stevia Rebaudiana B. Under Salinity Stress
In order to investigate the effect of putrescin and salicylic acid on some physiological and antioxidant properties of stevia under salinity stress, a factorial experiment was conducted in a completely randomized design with three replications. In this experiment, samples were exposed to different concentrations of putrescine (0, 0.5 and 1 mM), salicylic acid (0 and 0.5 mM) and salinity (0, 75 ...
متن کاملInteraction of nitrogen stress and salicylic acid on the physiological characteristics of borage
Deficiency of nitrogen may lead to decrease in yield and yield potential of crop plants. An experiment was done under glasshouse conditions in order to investigate nitrogen levels and salicylic acid interaction on some physiologic traits of borage (Borago officinials L.). In this experiment various levels of nitrogen (including; 27.5, 55, 110, 220 and 330 mg/L from ammonium nitrate) and salicyl...

15 صفحه اولThe effect of salicylic acid and gibberellin on enzyme activity and germination characteristics of wheat seeds under salinity stress conditions
ABSTRACT: Seed priming was used in wheat seeds to increase germination characteristics and tolerance on stress exposure. Wheat seeds were treated with salicylic acid and gibberellin. After 8 days our results showed that, seed priming treatments significantly (p≤ 0.01) affected germination percentage, normality seedling percentage, germination index and seedling length. Seed priming with salicyl...
